Spicemas Corporation is accepting applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer.

No less than five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory position

Salary is negotiable based on qualification and experience

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Chief Executive Officer (the “CEO”) reports to the Spicemas Corporation Board of
a) The CEO is responsible for:
i) Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations
of the corporation on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the strategies, plans and
policies approved by the Board;
ii) Managing the Corporation to ensure strategic and annual plans are effectively
implemented, the results monitored and reported to the Board, and financial and
operational objectives are attained.
II) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Lead and manage the Corporation within the parameters established by the Board or in its
absence, the Ministry of Culture.
b) Develop and recommend strategic plans to the Board consistent with its Vision and
c) Monitor and report to the Board on relevant subcommittees all significant operational,
financial and material matters that may have an impact on their activities. This includes
external items emanating from stakeholders and other Agencies.
d) Develop, for the Board, annual operating forecasts of revenue, expenditures, operational
results, and financial performance.
e) Establish effective control and coordination mechanisms for all operations and activities.
Ensure the integrity of the internal control and management systems.
f) Ensure employee responsibilities and authorities are clearly established.
g) Direct and maintain a sound, effective organizational structure.
h) Foster relationships with agencies, professional regulatory bodies, special interest groups,
the general public and other key stakeholders to encourage understanding and
cooperation in the development, implementation and evaluation of the operational and
strategic plans of the Corporation.
i) Manage and oversee the required interfaces between the Corporation and its stakeholders
and act as the principal spokesperson for the Corporation.
j) Ensure all operations and activities of the Corporation and its personnel are conducted in
accordance with the laws of Grenada, policies of the Corporation and do not violate
standard conflict of interest guidelines.
k) Any other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors.
