Grenlec upgrades Carriacou power plant

Grenlec’s new power plant control system, which was recently installed at the Beausejour facility in Carriacou, uses modern technology:

• Makes all the existing system generators work in parallel, increasing available capacity to 3.2MW.

• Enables complete, high-speed monitoring and control from Carriacou as well as Grenlec’s Queen’s Park facility.

• Produces greater efficiency in plant operations, resulting in higher reliability for customers.
